McKayla Rose Maroney also known under the name 'MackAir Maroney" is an infamous American athlete who has won two medals at the Summer Olympic Games of 2012 A silver medal for an individual in the vault, and gold for her team. Her first experience in gymnastics was as a young girl because her parents are avid sports fans. She is a specialist in vaulting, and is the only gymnast who has been able to succeed in defending her gold medal, first earned during the 2011 World Championship, and later, she won it at the 2013 Championship.
